Son of acclaimed designer José Zanine Caldas, Zanini de Zanine was also trained with other renowned designer Sergio Rodrigues. He eventually graduated with a degree in Design from the University of Rio de Janeiro.
From his father, Zanini learned to respect the nature, it forms and its materials. Starting his own line of furniture, he used reclaimed or sustainably sourced wood, plastic, or metal. His vision of design is based on the connection between the natural and the manmade. This unique coffee table, made in reclaimed wood, offers a flawless duality between its free-form tabletop where the veins and the organic forms of the wood are clearly visible and its highly geometrical cubic feet.
