Designed by Max Ingrand for Fontana Arte in the 1950s, this rare table lamp stands out for its bold geometric composition and unusual combination of materials.

Sharply angled glass panels intersect with patinated brass elements, creating a dynamic vertical structure in which solid and transparent surfaces appear to alternate. The asymmetrical arrangement introduces a subtle tension, while the carefully balanced proportions give the piece an unexpected sense of lightness.

With its daring geometry and almost abstract presence, the lamp captures the essence of Ingrand's vision: transforming an everyday source of light into an object of striking artistic individuality.
The composition brings together sharply angled glass panels and patinated brass elements in an elegant interplay of transparency, reflection and geometric forms. The contrasting materials create a dynamic vertical silhouette, with the delicate glass surfaces appearing almost suspended within the metal structure.

More than a functional lighting object, the lamp reveals Ingrand's background as a master glassmaker and his ability to transform light into an architectural and sculptural expression. Its bold asymmetry and refined execution make it a particularly compelling example of the experimental spirit of Fontana Arte during the 1950s.
