Whitley mostly created furniture tailored to his customers' needs and desires. This side table is no exception and is a unique piece designed for an American collector.
Skilled cabinetmaker, Robert Whitley mastered every aspect of woodworking, from the carving of the wood to the finishing, to which he gave a particular attention, as he loved to bring out the nuances of the wood grain.
