The King’s Chair was part of The Kings Furniture series that won first prize in the Cabinetmakers’ Guild Competition.
The Classic Kings Furniture series has been designed since 1969, named such because the Danish King Frederik IX received some of the models as gift when he turned 70 in 1969. The King’s Chair won first prize in the Cabinetmakers’ Guild Competition.
The Kings Furniture series has become a true Classic in Danish design.
The Kings Furniture series was produced by Find Christensen and Willum Larsen (later Botium overtook the production)
