This expanding dining table shows the values of simplicity, purity and modesty irrevocably associated with Hans Wegner. With its graceful design completed by two folding extension leaves, the table exudes refinement and Nordic functionality. Trained cabinetmaker, Hans Wegner integrated exacting joinery techniques in his furniture.
For this table, manufactured by Joahnnes Hansen, Wegner proved his craftsman skills by designing curved and crossed legs reinforced by brass stretchers to ensure stability. The particular attention to the supporting structure of the table became the principal feature of the whole design.
