An icon of Italian design, this striking floor lamp perfectly embodies the creativity and elegance of post-war Italian modernism. Its sculptural composition combines a large upper reflector providing indirect ambient light with two articulated arms and contrasting lacquered metal shades for directional lighting.
The slender brass structure and graphic asymmetry give the lamp an almost architectural presence, while the substantial black marble base provides a strong visual anchor. The refined combination of black marble, brass and lacquered metal, together with its ingenious balance of form and function, makes it a particularly distinctive example of Italian lighting design.
